NIRO EDU BOT Secures Top 3 Position in Robotics Segment at BEAR Summit 2025
The NSU Intelligent Robotics Lab (NIRO) achieved a notable accomplishment as its project, NIRO EDU BOT, secured a Top 3 position in the Robotics segment at BEAR Summit 2025, held in Dhaka in July 2025.
BEAR Summit 2025 was Bangladesh’s first major national technology summit focused on Biotech, Electronics, AI, and Robotics. Organized by the ICT Division and the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), the event brought together researchers, innovators, industry experts, and academic institutions to showcase advancements across emerging technology sectors.
The achievement reflects the sustained efforts of the NIRO Lab team under the supervision of Dr. Shahnewaz Siddique. The recognition at BEAR Summit 2025 highlights NIRO Lab’s ongoing commitment to robotics education, research, and innovation, as well as its contribution to the growing technology ecosystem in Bangladesh.
