Nasim Mahmud Mishu is a Research Assistant at NIRO Lab (NSU Intelligent Robotics Laboratory). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North South University.
Research Focus
Nasim’s research focuses on swarm robotics, autonomous agents, deep reinforcement learning, and intelligent robotic systems. He is currently developing swarm robotics architectures with emphasis on integrating machine learning into both centralized and decentralized control systems to enhance coordination and efficiency.
Previous Experience
- Part-time Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NSU, focusing on resource-efficient visual deep reinforcement learning (DRL) for autonomous robots
- Founding Member of NSU Ignite robotics team, responsible for autonomous robot design/construction for competitions and mentorship through workshops
